| Thoughts on Non-Sedated Dentistry Cindy Collins, president of Canine Care Inc., argues that the dental cleaning method she teaches falls outside the definition of a veterinary proceedure for two reasons: The proceedure is cosmetic in nature and is not designed to prevent or care for any disease, the tools employed include cotton swabs, [and] toothbrushes, which are permitted for use.
